Park debate team holds practice debate
Tonight between 7 and 8 in the McCoy Meetin’ House, the Park debate team will hold a practice debate. The topic will be if the federal government should ought not repeal the DACA program. “Debate teaches you about both sides of an argument,” says adjunct professor Chris Thomas. “It teaches you to clearly, accurately, and concisely frame an argument. It teaches research skills.”
