Campus clubs compete for honor, glory and cash

On Sept. 15 a battle was fought on the lawn of the chapel. Five Park University clubs; Interior Design Club, Math Club, Spectrum, the Crimson Dancers, and International Club competed to earn prize money for their respective groups.

“In the last year, I heard many clubs want more funds to create activities and events, but not having enough. They could go to PSGA, and many have, but sometimes they just want to create more laid back food events in where they all hang out as a club,” said Margarita Araiz, senior majoring in secondary education.

“We decided to put on this event in where clubs compete for the prize money,” said Margarita, “They all did amazing!”

The Competition was fierce, but the International Club won first place, followed by the Crimson Dancers in second and Spectrum finishing third.
