Park University’s 2018-2019 Women’s Soccer team is having a fantastic season with a record of 9-2 overall and 8-1 in the conference.

 

The Lady Pirates have won seven straight games. In the seven-game win streak, the Pirates had a season high of 12 points against St. Louis College of Pharmacy Eutectics.

 

Park freshman Lenvix Ochieng also won an American Midwest Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award. She earned this award in her seventh career game at Park University. Ochieng is ranked sixth in the NAIA for goals per game at 1.71.

 

Head coach Ken Hefner is in his 14th season with the Pirates and collected his 300th career victory on Sept. 29. He is now 300-198-22 all-time in his 26 years as head coach and is 159-78-12 at Par. That makes him the program’s all-time wins leader.

 

There are four seniors on the team this year. They’ll play their last game at Julian Field as a Pirate on Wednesday, Oct. 17. That is senior night against 19th-ranked Columbia College
