KU Relays is at our door step

The KU relays is a track meet held across a time span of three days every April held at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. This event has been an annual tradition since 1923 and has had runners that are huge in the world of Track and Field all over the United States of America compete or simply just attend. This plethora of track athletes range from Olympic level all the way to high schoolers. This attracts a lot of spectators to the meet especially the “Gold Zone” time era of the track meet. The Golden Zone is where Olympic legends such as Maurice Green or Marion Jones participate or make an appearance at the event.

This event is being brought up on the note that most of the Park University team has been entered into this prestigious opportunity. The relays especially will be most exciting because that’s when the test of the team’s chemistry and might will come to a tribulation that every relay team goes through whether or not their racing against diamond leaguers, high schoolers, and or Olympians. This is an event that people talk about across the nation that is so captivating to those with a high caliber in the running game ripples down to the smallest track and field programs.

Now Park University really has a time to shine and dazzle in the spotlight for the whole Nation to see us as a formidable force to contend with. New additions to the team with more female sprinters, new coaches, equipment, and the updated with a long move of offices and facilities for the care for our fellow pears/athletes. The training has been long and hard for this moment of glory that presents the team at the footsteps of destiny only to lead its walk up to victory in the world of improvement and success. The ending was a beautiful conclusion the men’s 4×4, 4×8, and 4×1 relays qualified to be entered into the relays as some single runners as well such as Odail Todd in the 100 and 200 meter dash breaking the school record originally placed by the current assistant sprint coach Byron. Also the 800 meter dash from yours truly William Henry a last year student athlete here at park. Overall the Nations and in some races, the world’s best competed there and Park University got the invite.
