Being the city that’s home to the best barbecue in America, it is easy to imagine that Kansas City would have many amazing restaurants. Barbecue isn’t all this city has to offer, because of its vast culture Kansas City is home to all types of food options.

Arthur Bryant’s

Feeding presidents like Harry S. Truman, Barrack Obama, and Jimmy Carter isn’t something any ordinary restaurant can claim. Famous for its secret recipe sauce and slow-cooked meats, Arthur Bryant’s helped bring the title of best BBQ to Kansas City.

Joe’s Kansas City BBQ

Once a small BBQ restaurant located in a gas station, Joes’ KC quickly grew to become one of Kansas City’s favorite barbecue restaurants now, with three locations. They were named the best barbecue restaurant by the New York times because of their smoked meats and authenticity of Kansas City BBQ tradition.

Cinzetti’s

The Majestic

The Majestic has a rich history in the Kansas City area and is considered one of the city’s staples. Originally home to The Fitzpatrick Saloon, the restaurant is now home to Kansas City’s best dry-aged steaks and live jazz every night.

Anton’s

Anton’s serves affordable, quality food by dealing directly with humane farmers. When eating here, you know can know where your food came from and that it is chemical-free. It’s hard to find a completely organic restaurant for an affordable price, and Anton’s truly takes the art of organic foods seriously.

Margarita’s

Margarita’s is known as one of Kansas City’s most popular Mexican restaurants because of its authentic Mexican-style food. It’s also considered to have the best margaritas and daiquiris in the area. By using unique spice and the freshest of products, Margarita’s has managed to make itself stand out among other Mexican restaurants in Kansas City.

If you enjoy playing pickleball and eating healthy food, this is the restaurant is for you. Chicken N Pickle takes a new form on casual dinning as it offers an outdoor/indoor venue and a restaurant. This is the only place in the Kansas City area where you can enjoy grass-fed beef, wood-fired rotisserie chicken, freshly chopped salads and watch a pickleball tournament.
