Park University will celebrate its 150th anniversary during Homecoming weekend, Thursday Sept. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 27, 2025, on the Parkville campus. This event welcomes students, alumni, faculty and the community to celebrate.
Festivities begin Thursday with an alumni lunch at the Parkville Wine House and an evening dinner at Stone Canyon. On Friday, guests can join campus tours in the morning and attend the alumni lunch at the Thompson Commons.
In the afternoon there will be the alumni awards ceremony at the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel and the Athletics Wall of Honor unveiling at the Mabee Learning Center. Athletics will take the spotlight with a women’s volleyball alumni game at 5 p.m., followed by a varsity match and “Pirates Madness,” a showcase of Park spirit.
One of the weekend’s highlights is the 150th Anniversary Alumni Banquet on Friday at Olde Mill Emporium. The event, which features dinner and music, requires a $25 ticket.
Saturday includes family activities, tailgates and more athletic events. Organizers say the weekend offers both nostalgia and celebration as the university marks its sesquicentennial.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. Students are encouraged to attend.
